How To Apply (Application deadline is October 1st)   
Our program participates in ERAS program and NRMP match process.  Information on ERAS process can be obtained through your medical school.  Our admissions team reviews all applications via ERAS to determine granting an interview to qualifying applicants.  Due to the large volume of applications, apply soon as our interview schedule will fill up quickly.  The following information will be reviewed from your ERAS application: 
  • Application
  • Personal Statement
  • Transcripts
  • Dean’s Letter
  • Three Letters of Recommendation
  • USMLE:      Step I = first time pass        Step 2 CK = minimum 220 & first time pass      Step 2 CS = first time pass
  • COMLEX:   Level 1 = first time pass     Level 2 CE = minimum 500 & first time pass      Level 2 PE = first time pass
  • If you have taken both USMLE and COMLEX, must meet minimum for both.  
  • Personal Photo

​Criteria to apply
  • Submission of all documents must be via ERAS
  • When applying, must have first time passed Step/Level 1 and Step 2 CK/Level 2 CE.  ECFMG certification not required when applying.    
  • Core clinical clerkship experience in United States is required
  • Applicants can apply regardless of the number of years from graduation
  • Application deadline is October 1st
  • Our institutional policy prohibits hiring new employees who smoke or use nicotine products
  • Our institutional policy prohibits hiring new employees who haven't been fully vaccinated for COVID by January 4th, 2022

How many positions are offered each year?
We offer 5 allopathic categorical positions each year.


May I mail, fax or email additional information to put with my ERAS application?
Only if requested by us.  

Do you invite international medical graduates to interview?
Admissions team reviews all ERAS applications received by December 1st and currently have IMG residents.   


Do you sponsor visas?

Do you have maternity/paternity leave?
Residents are permitted to take a leave of absence for birth or adoption of a child.

Is your program affiliated with any universities?
Our program has a strong affiliation with Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED).  We have M3 students throughout the year in our obstetrics and gynecology clerkship program and M4 electives August through December.  

Will your program reconsider or critique my application?

Due to large volume of ERAS applications, this isn't attainable.        

Does program offer observerships, shadowing, attendance at grand rounds or didactics?
Due to maximum number of learners, we're unable to offer.
